In just a few short hours some of the girls from my choir are coming to visit me, and I am SO excited! They’re always amazing company.
Today’s manicure was inspired by Woodennails – she did this paintsplatter kind of look for the 31DC and I absolutely loved it! She is very talented, so you should definitely go check out her blog!
I like how these kind of look like thunderI really liked the color combination, but I didn’t have a spare toothbrush to flick on the color with, like she did it, so I did it with the water spotting method instead like I did on day 20 of the challenge. I created the bulls-eye in the water and sprayed on a couple sprays of hairspray to make it seperate before I dipped in my finger.
Sorry about the band-aid here, I cut my finger.I wanted to show you both hands, because with this technique, no nails look alike! There is a lot more yellow on the right hand which I was a little unpleased with at first, but now I think it looks pretty cool, and hey – it’s supposed to be different on all ten fingers!
The grey polish is Granite from Pieces and the yellow is Banana Pop by L’Oréal – it’s funny how the grey makes the yellow look like a neon color when it is actually a very sunny yellow.
Beautiful mani as usual!! And thank you so much for the kind words! Lots of love from Belgium!
