First LEGOLAND trip of the year

For the past two summers I’ve worked at LEGOLAND and I start again 1st July, so today I had to go and collect my uniform. The trip from where we live to where the park is is a little long, so we didn’t want to drive all that way to just be there for 15 minutes, so we decided to take the first trip around the park of this year. We usually go about 5 times a year (in addition to all my work days).

This year we’ve (the park) gotten the 1:1 full-size model of the Star Wars X-fighter – I don’t know if you remember hearing about it being on Times Square? (Here’s a link if you haven’t heard). That is the main attraction this year and it is so unbelievably cool! I’m not a Star Wars fan, but I was very impressed!11414517_1008200119191408_82771962_n

I just wish it hadn’t started raining – we didn’t feel like staying very long in the bad weather when we can just go another time..

We visited Copenhagen a couple of years ago, and one of my regrets is not having the time to visit Legoland! How fun that you work there 😀

Aw, too bad! But don’t feel bad – even some Danes have only been once or twice. I was always lucky to live close by and now that I work there I go there way too often :p

One day, when our son’s a little older, we hope to take him. Denmark was wonderful! 🙂

Sounds like a good plan! How old is your son? Where are you from? 🙂

He’s just turned 1 a couple months ago! So he won’t appreciate fine European culture yet. 😀

We’re in Toronto, Canada. Quite boring compared to most of the places we have visited!

Isn’t it always like that when you live somewhere? That you’re unable to see the appeal others see? 😉 I’ve never been to Canada, so it would be very exciting for me to go there!
Did you do a Europe tour or just Denmark?

Yes, it is so typical to not visit stuff in your own backyard! I am very guilty of that. Canada’s great, and I should really plan some local trips soon 🙂

We did Copenhagen, Stockholm, a half day in Frankfurt, the south of France and finally Paris. It was a really fun trip (kind of our last hurrah before having a kid) and we loved it! We definitely want to go back to DK & SW someday. Lots we didn’t get to experience. People were so lovely there, too!

I hope you’ll get to visit Canada one day 😀
