Friday Favorite: The Body Shop Body Butter

IMG_3448

The Body Shop recently hit a milestone on their Danish Instagram page, so all the shops gave away these 50ml body butters in Frosted Plum with every purchase. I needed some things that I could just as well buy in The Body Shop and get this at the same time – I love all things that are free.

This Frosted Plum body butter is apparantly a part of their new holiday/christmas line – I didn’t really know before I got this. I’ve had body butters before and liked them, but they’ve never been on the top of my most used-list, and I honestly thought this one would slowly find its way down to the bottom of the list alongside the other body butters, but I was definitely wrong!

The smell of this is AMAZING! I love it, so sweet yet still fresh. I also smelled the other products/scents in their new line (Glazed Apple and Frosted Cranberry), and while this one was my favorite, I am definitely tempted to buy the entire line while I still have the chance.

I think my love for this might actually also have to do with the size of the jar – 50ml is much more handy than 200ml, so it’s easier to bring with you everywhere, so you find more opportunities to use it than if it’s sitting in your cupboard and you only use after you’ve showered.

The smaller size does sound more convenient! I am also not the hugest fan of body butters for the same reasons you give, but this scent sounds wonderful.

I think it’s also because they’re very rich and sometimes a little sticky, so I usually opt for lighter lotions. If you have a Body Shop near you, I’d definitely say go smell them 😀

Generally body butters come in bigger sizes but instead, if you want to try travel friendly body butter, then you could try soap & glory righteous butter that is available in a very small size that is ideal to use while you are on the move.
