It feels like forever ago that I was in the mood for doing nail art, but the mood struck me the other day, so I was quick to respond 😉
These nails are super easy and quick to do, and it creates a really cool effect.

I found these on my camera roll today – I did them forever ago, but for some reason I never really got around to posting them.

These aren’t necessarily christmas nails, but I really felt like wearing red which I almost only do around christmas. Instead of doing the all red, I paired it with black and white polka dots.

Do anyone else feel like december has just flown by? There are so many last minute things to busy yourself with, so I’m doing the whole ‘less is more’-thing and sticking to simplistic nail art.
Oh boy, this was a tricky one, because I REALLY wanted the stars to be gold, but I don’t have a gold stamping polish, so I had to try several polishes out before I found one that transfered okay-ish to my nails.

As you may have guessed from my last couple of posts, I’ve been waiting all year to pull out all of my christmas themed nail art items; stamping plates, foils, and water decals.
In that bunch are these black wreath water decals that I unfortunately applied a tiny bit crooked, but I still really like it over the gold polish.
The gold glitter really threw my camera for a loop when I tried to take a closeup shot, but it still shows the intricate details of the wreath just fine.

Gradient french tips are a classic for me every year for christmas. Usually I do the snow falling with a white hex glitter polish, but this time I’ve done really big snowflakes with water decals.
I LOVE how this looks! I’ll have to stock up on these water decals so I can use them every year.

Today’s mani seems really far away from what I normally do, with the big gold studs, but they were sitting in my drawer, and they really spoke out to me today, so I had to include them.
I normally only do a design once per season (or ever), but I’m feeling that I’ll be using the bells image from the stamping plate again this season…

December is upon us. I don’t know what it’s like where you are, but here it has gotten COLD! It hasn’t snowed yet, but it feels like it could start any minute now.
I’m trying to turn any negativity towards to cold in to something positive, so I’m ‘celebrating’ the cold with some holo snowflakes.
These snowflakes come from a roll of nail foil, and it took some improvisation to get it to look like this, because the snowflakes are placed on a black background, and I just wanted the green glitter underneath, so I had to fill in the black parts by hand afterwards, but the result is pretty amazing!

I have always been intrigued with thermal polishes, but I have never really purchased any. They usually come from indie brands, and not a lot of those are made in Denmark (and international shopping fees suck!). I was given the chance to review two thermal gel polishes from Born Pretty Store, and to sweeten the deal even further, the thermal polishes come with a matte gel top coat so now I get to play around with that as well.
Because they come with the matte top coat that is also how I’m showing them here, but trust me – they also look good with a clear top coat.
Back in January, I massively declutted my nail polish collection to make room for new ones. Since then, there are some polishes that I still reach for all the time, but there are also some that I have not even THOUGHT about using since my last declutter, so now it’s time for those to go as well.
I’ve gotten better at throwing out base and top coats when they’re empty now, so I’ve eliminated that category. I also don’t have any active dislikes this time around – I just have the empties, those that I don’t really use anymore, and those that I’ve never really gotten around to using.
